A high-tech simulated hospital that showcases digital health and the future of home care is heading to New Jersey, with help from Israel.

SciTech Scity is a 30-acre innovative campus that the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City is developing with Israel’s Sheba Medical Center. The partnership will showcase cutting-edge healthcare technologies from Israel that focus on advances in digital health, home care, artificial intelligence, communication and robotic technologies that maximize patient care and comfort, while minimizing risk to staff. Solutions focus on promoting healthy living, coping with chronic diseases at home and promoting health equity.

“Advances in digital health and home healthcare promise to help people everywhere, but these advances will particularly help underserved populations who don’t have easy access to specialized care,” LSC President and CEO Paul Hoffman said.

Through the partnership, LSC and Sheba Medical Center will test digital health and home health products in underserved communities in Jersey City and beyond. The collaborative technologies developed at the center could be available for use within the next decade.
