A series about loneliness from McKnight’s Home Care snagged a national gold award — the highest level — in the prestigious American Society of Business Publication Editors awards competition. Winners of the so-called Azbees were announced last week in Cleveland, at the annual conference.

The series, “Lonely at Home,” written by Staff Writer Diane Eastabrook, previously won a regional gold award. Others named for the award were Editor Liza Berger and Graphic Designer Aminah Beg. McKnight’s Home Care also won two other bronze regional awards this year.

The Azbee Awards honor the best in business-to-business media, recognizing outstanding work by B2B, trade, association and professional publications. It is considered one of the most competitive awards programs for trade media and highlights editorial and design excellence within magazines, newsletters, digital and social media.

McKnight’s Home Care’s sister brands McKnight’s Long-Term Care News and McKnight’s Senior Living also won national Azbee awards.
