Elizabeth Ann Fetner truly has been a rising star at Life Care Services. She has climbed up the ranks due to her outstanding commitment to serving residents and the high-quality care she has demonstrated in every role since joining LCS in 2011 as an associate administrator.

After that initial post, Fetner became an executive director at locations in Missouri, Wisconsin and Minnesota. In 2019, she was promoted to her current role as regional operations manager for the portfolio of LCS communities owned by Healthpeak Properties.

LCS is the second largest operator of senior living communities, managing 140 facilities in the U.S.

Fetner earned a degree in financial management with an economics minor from Clemson University and an MBA from Florida State University. She also holds a nursing home administrator license and is a certified nursing home administrator.

With Fetner, the numbers speak for themselves. She has achieved multiple deficiency-free surveys and five-star ratings during her LCS career. While working in Minnesota, her resident satisfaction rates were 93%, and she had an executive director score of 94% according to an internal survey completed by LCS.

As a director in Minnesota, Fetner created an annual event called Music in Plymouth, bringing in the Minnesota Orchestra to create an event that now draws more than 15,000 attendees. It also achieved the label of the premier summer event, according to Traci McBee, the company’s corporate communications director.

Heavily involved in various LCS committees during her tenure, Fetner has worked to improve LCS operations and foster collaboration between several different company departments. Through her work on various committees, she has launched new training platforms and raised awareness of issues and opportunities through newsletters and company-wide presentations. Those roles have been on the LCS Foundation Fundraising Committee, Hospitality Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, and Symposium Committee, to name only a few.

Despite her high level of involvement, Fetner says she is honored and humbled by this recognition.

“I look forward to many more years serving seniors,” Fetner said.
